Shawn Setaro is a writer, reporter, and podcaster. Starting his career as a Berklee-educated musician, he pivoted to music journalism and worked in top editorial positions at Genius and Complex, in addition to creating and hosting the influential hip-hop podcast 'The Cipher.' Shawn has also contributed to, among many other outlets, Forbes, GQ, and the Sondheim Review. He is the author of one book: 'Dummy Boy: Tekashi 6ix9ine and the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods' (Kingston Imperial).
